Kia Ora... Welcome to the beautiful and pure nature of New Zealand, Aotearoa - Land of the Long White Cloud - land of "The Lord of the Rings".
Forget your busy city life. Relax and free your mind.
When you are tired or having a busy, stressful day, escape and immerse yourself in the pure nature sounds of New Zealand while watching beautiful nature scenic video clips.
Some sounds tracks and video clips were recorded in very remote and quiet locations situated within Unesco’s World Heritage Site, “Te Wahipounamu” in the South Island of New Zealand.
"Te Wahipounamu" retains the natural beauty of ancient Gondwanaland. You will never experience this “sound of quietness” or tranquility in your busy daily city life.
We have located the source of the sound and video recordings on the map so you can visit the same places when you are in NZ. ^1
To learn more about New Zealand, please visit the "Official New Zealand Website"
^1 Be prepared ..... you may need to walk for 3 hours one way just to get to some of the locations! .... for your efforts, you will be rewarded with an awe-inspiring experience which you will never forget.
All sound materials were recorded using the exceptional and high quality German technology of the Neumann KU100 binaural microphone ..... the so-called "Dummy Head". This exceptional microphone is modelled on a human head (it even has soft rubber ears), and imitates a human's head-related transfer function (HRTF).
